Kids Choice Awards and Russell Wilson Rock!

His name is Russell, last name Wilson. That’s right, despite the crazy contract still not being wrapped up, I’m ready to bring back that parody song because I’m floating on a high right now due to our favorite quarterback’s All-Star performance at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Sports Awards.

This year’s awards aired July 16th and Russell was (of course), the host. You can tell this guy really loved the job. He looked energetic and enthused to be there, you could tell by his non-stop smile. This wasn’t his first appearance though. He won the Favorite Newcomer Award in 2014. When asked about the event he said, “”I am thrilled that Nickelodeon has asked me to host Kids’ Choice Sports. What an honor to be the king of slime for one crazy night!  I had so much fun at the show last summer that I can’t wait to get back. What kid doesn’t want to get slimed? Count me in on that. I’m just a big kid at heart, so let the fun begin. I promise you, we’re going to have great fun,”

I mean who wouldn’t love a guy who would willingly put on this suit, and get slime in his ear, just so a bunch of kids can have a blast. Oh, and he also took home a few awards: King of Swag and Biggest Cannon.

Better than that though, he invited his girlfriend Ciara onstage with him to dance the Whip and the Nae Nae.

The best moment of the night, though, came when a bunch of kids played tug-o-war with Marshawn Lynch, who took home the Biggest Powerhouse award.
